
Part 46 Training
We can provide any Part 46 training on a company or individual basis. from new miner to annual refresher, we can travel to your company’s location, or we can make arrangements for you or your miners to come to us in Queen Creek, AZ
What we offer for Part 46
Our part 46 new miner training is going to be 3 days or 24 hours.
on chosen day it will be 7 am-4 pm
1-hour lunch break.
New Miner
Experienced Miner
For part 46 Experienced Miner training will be 1 day or 8 hours
on chosen day it will be 7 am-4 pm
1-hour lunch break.
Annual refresher
The annual refresher will also be a 1-day class or 8 hours.
This will run 7 am-4 pm unless company schedule dictates otherwise.
1-hour lunch break.
Part 46 requirements
before a new miner starts work at the mine you must provide no less than 4 hours of training in the following
Intro to work environment. (including a tour of the mine)
recognition of electrical and other hazards present at the mine.
review of emergency medical procedures.
health and safety aspects of assigned tasks.
instruction on miners’ rights.
description of the chain of command.
intro to your hazard reporting procedures.
A new miner must receive 24 hours of training in the first 90 days. RMSC recommends that this is completed at the onset of employment. However, we work within the current training plans in place.
